Another secret to winning is wager well within your means and avoid at all cost any wagers that would be considered plunge betting. These bets may win, but in the long run, they are very dangerous as the loss of a plunge wager is devastating to a players betting stake. Playing within your means is betting smaller wagers than you could comfortably lose and being able to return for another session. Players that do this make logical decisions and not decisions based on emotion or worse yet unable to make rational plays due to the size of the wagers. Betting outside of a players comfort level is a mistake that is seen daily at every casino both live and online. Casinos count on stupid get even bets by players as part of their ability to beat most players for more money than the player meant to risk.

Playing three hands at a time has some advantages as a player with these opportunities can use to possible winning hands to make it easier to play a break hand and not take a hit. If the hand works out to the players plan the worst that will happen is the break hand will lose and the other two hands will win. This will gain one winning bet for the three hand player. The dealer could break and the three hands become winners or the dealer could out draw all hands and the player will lose three wagers.

The reason for never buying insurance is the house is offering it. Actually that is partially true in that the house is offering the wager since they do not payout the correct odds when the wager wins. Making bets that do not payoff with the correct odds is a dumb play on the players part. An occasional hunch bet is okay, but the player that routinely takes insurance is playing badly. Taking the worst of any wager is a sure way to end up losing in the end. The making of bets that payoff with lower than proper odds are not in the best interest of the player.

Doubling down every time the set up is correct is an obvious way to win as the player is getting the best of the odds. The correct set up is the player has a total count in their hand of eight, nine, ten or eleven. The dealers hand is showing a break card. This situation gives the player two ways to win. The first way is the dealer busts their hand. The second way is the players hand beats the dealers hand. This is a good odds bet for the player and it should be taken.
